Alissa Tu is a Vietnamese American writer who was born and raised in Olympia, Washington. Her work has been published in Honey Literary, The Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and  the lickety~split. Confessions of a Modern Day Kumiho, her debut experimental memoir with Blue Cactus Press is set to release in August 2022. She is currently First Princess for Miss Vietnam San Diego.
