Sydney Van To

Sydney Van To is currently a PhD student in the Department of English at UC Berkeley, with research interests in Asian American literature, critical refugee studies, and crime fiction. Before coming to Berkeley, he taught at the University of Đồng Nai in Biên Hoà, Vietnam on a Fulbright scholarship. He also co-founded and served as the editor-in-chief of The Foundationalist, an intercollegiate literature journal. His writing has been published in Adroit, Asymptote, and The Chicago Review of Books, among other publications.
