diaCRITICS is a project of the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN),<\/a> whose primary mission is to promote voices and stories of the Vietnamese diaspora through nurturing writers, poets and artists, and connecting their work to readers, audience, and diasporic communities all over the globe. DVAN is excited to announce the launch of a new literary publishing series in partnership with Texas<\/span>\u00a0Tech<\/span>\u00a0University Press<\/a>\u00a0to support talented Vietnamese and Southeast Asian American writers.<\/p>\n Texas<\/span>\u00a0Tech<\/span>\u00a0University Press (TTUP),\u00a0founded in 1971, is the university press of the American\u00a0Texas<\/span>\u00a0Tech<\/span>\u00a0University, located in Lubbock,\u00a0Texas<\/span>. TTUP publishes regional titles, natural history and environmental studies, Western Americana, and Vietnam War and Southeast Asian studies. The collaboration with DVAN expands TTUP’s scope and reach by centering the perspectives and poetics of Vietnamese and Southeast Asians in the U.S and Asia.<\/p>\n For the inaugural year, we are looking to publish a Vietnamese American novel, memoir, or a short story collection.
